Week 5  The Purcell School

This week we feature the exceptional work of the Purcell School, whose students are among the most gifted young musicians of their generation.  Deal Music & Arts is immensely proud and privileged to have such a close relationship with this remarkable school, where 180 young people gain the highest musical skills, guided by a team of the country’s finest teachers.

The school’s Director of Music, Paul Hoskins, introduces their work, and we feature some special examples of their music making, all available on their You Tube channel.

Even in this time of social isolation, the tenacity of the school’s students shines through, as they continue to make music and study online.  Listen in awe at what can be achieved by such young people whether in London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall in March 2020 or in isolation only a month or so later.
