“Jess already has her place in the saxophone hall of fame”
John Harle

The London Mozart Players, one of the UK’s longest established chamber orchestras, celebrated its 70th birthday last year. One of the finest chamber orchestras in the world, it is joined today by soloist Jess Gillam, one of the most celebrated musicians of her generation.

Jess is well known for her work on BBC TV and Radio, being the youngest ever BBC Radio 3 music presenter, and she was soloist at The Last Night of The Proms in 2018.

She records exclusively for Decca Classics and first came to attention when she was the first saxophonist to reach the Final of BBC Young Musician of the Year.

She was the recipient of a Classic Brit Award in the Sound of Classical Poll 2018 which promotes the best emerging artists and ‘ones-to-watch’ in classical music.
