Ilona Jäntti choregrapher/acrobat
From the creator of last year’s ingenious and enjoyable human croquet, comes another breathtaking, beautiful show of physical dexterity, Sokol. Named after a Czech movement based on the principle of “a strong mind and a strong body”, Ilona’s solo acrobatic performance will use ropes and wall bars, inspiring children with what’s possible in the familiar surroundings of a school hall, with an uplifting musical soundtrack.
Please note: this event is designed for children aged 5+. The show is short to hold children’s attention. After this second performance, there will be a chance to talk to the performer along with a short skills demonstration for children who’d like to learn a little more. There is a shorter show at 10.30am that lasts around 25 minutes without the short skills workshop after the performance. To book for the earlier one instead please click HERE
This production by Ilmatila is supported by the Finnish Cultural Foundation
