Summer Music School. What is it?
3rd – 7th August 2026
Deal Music and Arts Summer School is a week of music-making in the beautiful setting of Northbourne Park School.
Under the guidance of expert tutors and led by Phil White from the Philharmonia Orchestra, you will play in large and small groups throughout the week, culminating in an informal concert.
The non-residential Summer School fee is £120 and inancial assistance is available for young people on low incomes.
To secure your place, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the course fee is payable by 1 May, with the final payment due by 3 July. Our experienced team of safeguarding staff will ensure the safety of all attending.
There are two courses on offer – a senior band and a junior band. The senior band is open to children, young people and adults who play wind, string and percussion instruments to a minimum playing standard of grade 4 or equivalent. The junior band is open to under 16s who play any instrument to a playing standard up to grade 4 or equivalent.
