Changeling Theatre Director: Rob Forknall
Join us in the spectacular surroundings of Dover Castle for Changeling Theatre’s bold and unapologetically fun Much Ado About Nothing. It’s sharp, it’s funny, it’s Shakespeare’s ultimate romcom. Beatrice and Benedick swear they can’t stand each other. Hero and Claudio seem picture-perfect until a little drama crashes their party. Lurking behind the cocktails and confetti is one deliciously devious Don John stirring up trouble……Just the thing for an English summer’s night!
Please note: the gates to Dover Castle open at 6pm for the audience to enjoy a picnic. There are no chairs or seating in the grounds. Please bring your own picnic chairs to enjoy this outdoor performance. In the event of very bad weather, the performance will move to an indoor location on-site, in which case you will still need your own chair! Free, unlimited parking is available at the castle. Wrap up very warm for a whole evening above the sea where it can get breezy!
Duration: 150 mins approx.
