Described as “strikingly intelligent and expressive” by The Strad, the Salomé Quartet are recognised for their heartfelt interpretations and electric sense of communication, and are quickly establishing a reputation as one of UK’s most exciting young string quartets. Following a short talk hosted by Luke Styles with two of the featured composers, John Woolrich and DMA’s composer-in-residence Florence Anna Maunders, this prizewinning quartet also perform works by Purcell, Puccini, Stravinsky and Shostakovich.
