Conductor: Olivia Tait
The warm, spacious acoustic of St George’s Church makes a perfect setting for a choral programme celebrating the wonder of the stars. This performance by Recordare, a chamber choir comprising some of the finest young professional singers in the UK, is the culmination of a joyful day of singing. Their celestial-themed programme includes music through the centuries from Byrd and Monteverdi to Parry, Stanford and 21st-century composers Laura Mvula, Eric Whitacre and Christopher Brown, along with a piece by Composer in Focus, Nneka Cummins.
