Sokol – an acrobatic performance for families

Ilona Jäntti choreographer/acrobat

From the creator of last year’s ingenious and enjoyable human croquet, comes another breathtaking, beautiful show of physical dexterity, Sokol. Named after a Czech movement based on the principle of “a strong mind and a strong body”, Ilona’s solo acrobatic performance will use ropes and wall bars, inspiring children with what’s possible in the familiar surroundings of a school hall, with an uplifting musical soundtrack.

Please note: this event is designed for children aged 5+. The show is short to hold children’s attention.  After the later performance starting at 11.20am, there will be a chance to talk to the performer along with a short skills demonstration for children who’d like to learn a little more. To book for the later performance + skills demo instead of the earlier performance, please click HERE

This production by Ilmatila is supported by the Finnish Cultural Foundation

Duration: 25 mins approx. There is parking available at the school.
