Poetry and Music
Hosted and curated by Jacob Sam-La Rose, poets working at the forefront of contemporary poetry perform their work across the day. Poets include former and current members of Barbican Young Poets brought together by Jacob Sam-La Rose, a British-Guyanese poet and one of the country’s most inspirational writers and educators.
This session will consist of performance poetry by Jacob Sam-La Rose interwoven with arrangements of Bach’s Goldberg Variations for viola and cello, performed by Fiona Winning and Tim Gill, as well as contemporary music.
Day ticket for all three poetry events £20.00. The evening Open Mic is free.
